This project was my first and biggest New Super Mario Bros. Wii mod. It was mainly developed during COVID lockdowns alongside Pride Kart Wii. I must admit that the ability to design custom levels appeals to me much more than simple texture hacks.

I wanted this level pack to feel very traditional, with a few complex tricks and ideas thrown in there. I always intended for the pack to fill all 8 worlds, which is why the levels in the current version feel very out of place (ghost houses definitely shouldn't be present in world 1). I partially completed world 2 (mainly working on these levels on stream), before life started to get in the way and I moved on to other projects. Some of my favourite levels are from this time, which I see as a sign of an improvement in my level design. These levels remain unreleased to this day, but someday I may make a couple more levels in order to complete and release the second world. The mod makes heavy use of unused stage hazards which were left in the code, for example seesaws, randomised level paths, and crushing stone blocks from the DS predecessor. Some were likely left out for a reason, but I did my best to form a coherent level structure around them. I also threw in a few optional texture swaps and text changes, and a friend very kindly designed a logo to use on the title screen.
